Marshals

Marshals are trained and equipped to deal with a variety of emergencies that can occur and assist in ensuring the safety and welfare of the members of the Â鶹´«Ã½ campus community. Marshals need to be prepared to react to any of the possible "hazards" that can occur at any time on campus. such as fire/smoke, bomb threat/suspicious objects, utility emergency, gas leak, toxic substance, hostile intruder/suspicious person, lockdown, disturbance, criminal activity, light search and rescue, and sick/injured person.

The marshals are staff and faculty volunteers that are interested in providing emergency assistance within the building they reside or within the Â鶹´«Ã½ campus in general. This group meets monthly for training, discussions and exercises.

If you are interested in the FEMA training and/or volunteering as a marshal on campus, please contact the Â鶹´«Ã½ Director of Security at 973-290-4290.
