The Helen J. Streubert, Ed.D., Programs in Nursing at Â鶹´«Ã½ is
committed to providing distinctive undergraduate (BSN) and graduate (MSN) nursing
programs. At Â鶹´«Ã½, the BSN program consists of two options – the pre-licensure and
RN to BSN – and the MSN program includes Nurse Educator and Nurse Leadership options.
Â鶹´«Ã½'s nursing curriculum fosters the development of leadership in students in a spirit
of service and social responsibility to others with emphasis on advocacy for patients,
nursing profession and healthcare.
In support of the educational objectives, the Â鶹´«Ã½ nursing students' learning experience
includes a state-of-the-art clinical skills and diagnostics center, which includes
a high-fidelity simulation lab consisting of 12 examination bays and a patient simulation
room featuring an adjacent faculty observation area. Classes are held at our home
campus as well as in a number of regional health centers and fit a professional work
schedule.
